Just came back from Jesus Christ Superstar Musical by UCD Musical in O' Reilly Hall.It was really cool!
It was something i never expect as they presented in a very modern and 'ROCK' way.It was something like an opera.Although the front part was kind of boring for me as i havent really put myself into the story, but the following parts were really nice!
The music and effect by orchestra, the lightning, the singing part by the actors and the dances, everything was just so fantastic.10euro for the ticket.and it worthed!
I did enjoy a lot tonight! It really made my day!
FYI:[Jesus Christ Superstar is a rock opera with lyrics by Tim Rice and music by Andrew Lloyd Webber. The musical started as a rock opera concept recording before its first staging on Broadway in 1971. The musical is loosely based on the Gospels' accounts of the last week of Jesus' life, beginning with the preparation for the arrival of Jesus and his disciples in Jerusalem and ending with the crucifixion. It highlights political and interpersonal struggles between Judas Iscariot and Jesus, struggles that are not in the Bible.]
